An Award-Winning Community

Heritage Wake Forest, a master-planned community comprised of 37 individual neighborhoods in downtown Wake Forest and Rolesville, broke ground 14 years ago. Now, the final neighborhood, Heritage Enclave, is down to its last batch of building lots.

Heritage was originally meant to include 900 homes on 900 acres, but eventually grew to 2,600 homes on 2,500 acres. Public schools and local shopping centers have been named after the community, and it has been named Master Planned Community of the Year three times, along with several other accolades.

All Good Things Must Come to an End

Andy Ammons, president of C.R. Spainhour Custom Homes Inc., expects the final Enclave lots to be fully occupied by the end of 2015. “The thought of Heritage continuing forever couldn’t last. We made it though the good times and the bad times,” he said. “At some point you can’t continue to create that magic forever.”
