The city of Raleigh granted preliminary site plan approval for The Residences at Cameron Village to be located on the northeast corner of the intersection of Oberlin Road and Clark Avenue. There would be 282 apartments and roughly 16,000 square feet of retail space. Plans also include a 450-space parking deck.
I’m kind of slow out of the gate on this one. It’s been so long since I’ve gotten to write about new development that I almost quit paying attention to it! I know we are all looking forward to getting back to business as usual. I see this as a great project for Raleigh and it’s a very visible location. The developer is Crescent Resources who is fresh out of bankruptcy with new available financing and a long resume’ for projects like this. I’m all about moving forward ASAP!
