Duke to Renovate Wallace Wade Stadium in 2015

Wallace Wade StadiumDuke University plans to enhance its football experience with three privately-funded renovation projects for Wallace Wade Stadium:

New Stadium Tower

A five-story, 90,000-square-foot tower to replace the Finch-Yeager Building on the west side of the stadium is planned for construction. The main level will include six concession booths and restrooms, while the more luxurious second floor contains a 300+ seating dining room, exterior club accommodations, and 6 luxury suites. Fifteen additional luxury suites, as well as the President’s box, will be on the third floor, while the fourth level provides media space with extra video filming on the roof.

Duke is partnering with Daktronics for a new LED board measuring 42 feet high by 75.6 feet wide for a total of 3,175 square-feet of display with a 1080P high definition resolution – more than doubling the current video board size.
